The Cool Stuff with Premiere Pro #BookReview

I edited with Premiere Pro over a decade after the demise of Final Cut Pro 7 (RIP). I was happy to transition to Premier Pro and frequently joked that it’s the Final Cut Pro 8 which Apple should’ve, could’ve made. So with the years of experience under my belt, I thought that I knew almost everything there’s to know about it until I read The Cool Stuff with Premiere Pro. And I was immediately humbled by the breadth, let alone the depth of the knowledge within the book.

It’s the best book on Premiere Pro by far, and I highly recommend to anyone who’s serious about editing, as well as the post production process using Premier Pro. It even covers the international standards & workflows used outside of the US that I was barely cognizant of.

My only wish is that the authors keep up with the yearly updates to Premiere Pro. I will definitely buy each update/revision of this book, just like I pay Adobe subscriptions.
